Details: My biggest project yet; 5 days of shooting models (!) on location (!!) for RUDIE’S catalog. Shooting was done in the Udagawa district of Shibuya in front of the RUDIE’S flagship store, at the Mohawk Gallery, in the Alphabet Soup Cafe (though sadly we didn’t use those shots), rock bar ROCKAHOLIC, DJ bar GAME, in front of Tower Records in Shibuya, and in various locations up in Koshigaya at RUDIE’S HQ.
Shooting involved lots of strobes, several wings & prayers, me hanging out of a moving car to shoot motorcycles (which I have to admit was the coolest part of the whole thing), and lots and lots of stress. But the catalog came out wonderfully and I’m indebted to RUDIE’S for the opportunity as well as to Fernando and Hachi for their assistance.
